Bluebeard's Eighth Wife stars Claudette Colbert, Gary Cooper, Edward Everett Horton, and David Niven in this 1938 screwball comedy. The film is about a woman getting mixed up with an American Multi-Millionaire, who has been married seven times before. He doesn't tell her until the day of the wedding, so she throws him for a loop instead. If they are to be divorced, she'll get a nice settlement but no divorce is in sight but there romance is quite strained. The film is delightfully hilarious and Claudette and Gary make a charming couple together and their rifts together are too funny to not enjoy watching.
Review for Tomorrow: Wings in the Dark

I saw this movie on the big screen a gazillion years ago and all I can remember is David Niven running alongside a train and Claudette Colbert trying to turn off Coop with a mouthful of onions! Your review makes me want to see it again.
I thought David Niven was hilarious in this. :)
Best wishes,
Laura
