Miracle on 34th Street stars Edmund Gwenn, Maureen O' Hara, John Payne, and Natalie in this delightfully wonderful Christmas classic. The film is about a woman and her daughter, who are the realists of the world until an old man, claiming to be Santa Claus pops into their lives. John Payne and Edmund Gwenn are the believers of the world, who never give up hope but the two girls are quite skeptic about this supposed Santa Claus, and constantly keep their guard up in fear of getting hurt. Edmund Gwenn is the most enjoyable thing in this entire movie, he brings belief and hope to the world, without much hesitation in his voice. I adored... absolutely adored both John Payne and Natalie Wood in this classic, they were both so charming to watch. Maureen O' Hara completely annoyed me in the beginning of the film with her skepticism towards Edmund but as the film progresses, her skepticism soon fades. Though, I did like "It's a Wonderful Life" more, I do think this is considered a Christmas Classic and I look forward to seeing it again next year.

Miracle on 34th Street is one of those movies I watch every year. It's certainly one of my favourites!
I have to see this one. Somehow, I've never ever watched it, though not for lack of wanting to.

Gwenn is a hoot, but I really enjoyed William Frawley's character. His take on the political repercussions of Judge Henry Harper not ruling Kringle is Santa Claus is very funny - and a little absurd.
