365 Movies: Pin Up Girl Review

Pin Up Girl stars Betty Grable, John Harvey, Joe E. Brown, and Martha Raye in this 1944 film. The movie is about Lorry Jones(Grable) who fibs to get people to pay attention to her. When her lies catch up to her, Lorry comes up a plan to keep it going. Along the way, Lorry meets and falls for naval hero, Tommy Dooly(Harvey) but will her lies continue to dominate her life? The film is an entertaining watch but as for plot and such, there isn't much there. The dance numbers were thrilling to watch and I feel Betty never gets credit for how talented, she was as a dancer. I haven't seen many of his films, but I did enjoy watching John Harvey. He was quite a good looking guy and his acting was pretty good.
